Where do you feel most yourself?

Oddly enough, I feel most myself with people that I don't really know. I find it easier, because although I can't generally reveal all of myself, I can show them who I am opennly and maybe have a chance at making a new friend. I think I also feel the most myself around new people because I love new experiences and broadening my scope of life, and by meeting new people, I'm doing that.

I love to cook. Cooking has such relaxing properties to me, plus, it actually makes me think about what I am putting into my body. My favorite recipe website, although I am not a vegetarian or vegan, is www.fatfreevegan.com it has some really good, healthy recipes.

What would engage more people in creating a positive future?

I think it's all about determination, self-discipline, and other centeredness. It takes a lot for us, as humans to look at others and say that we want what's best for them because we have a self centered nature. However, that's what we need to create a positive future. We need to realize there's more to life than ourselves, but others, and others after us. Then we need to take action, which requires determination and self-discipline. We need to determine to make a difference for others after us, and then be disciplined enough to go about doing it.

How can we stay connected?

Posted on Jul 15th, 2008 by Miss_Green : Miss_Green Miss_Green
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 15, 2008:

It depends on who we are trying to stay connected with. If it's someone I just barely know, then through facebook, or e-mail, if It's someone I really care about I hang out with them, or telephone them. I think the most effective way to stay connected though is through phone calls and hanging out. There's just something about the human body and voice that can not be replaced with a simple post on some one's wall.

What is the most important story in your life right now?

Posted on Jul 14th, 2008 by Miss_Green : Miss_Green Miss_Green
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 14, 2008:

The most important story in my life right now is God's story. Just about every American knows the stories of Easter and Christmas. However, I'm not talking about those "God" stories. I'm talking about my "God"story. God is still alive. He is still working. He has a plan for my life. He's writing my story and I'm seeking to follow the story he has written in my life. What story could be more important then that?

What do you want from our leaders?

Posted on Jul 12th, 2008 by Miss_Green : Miss_Green Miss_Green
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 12, 2008:

I would like our leaders to start holding on to the foundation that built up this great nation that we have. It seems that now a days we are so determined to move forward and go on into the future that we forget what we stand on. A tree will wither without roots and a house can not withstand a storm with out the foundation. In the same way, a nation can not hold strong with out holding on to it's begginning. I think that is why we are slowly seeing our nation begin to crumble and fall apart. If only we would remember where we are from, then, I believe that our nation would move forward and still stay strong.
